Jared Fuqua

Jared Fuqua is a skilled professional in plant sciences with extensive experience in horticulture and farm management. Currently serving as a Plant Health Scout at Cherrylake since February 2023, Jared previously held the position of Assistant General Manager of Horticulture at Kalera, where management of a 130,000 square foot vertical farming facility was a key responsibility. Earlier roles include an internship and scouter position at Long & Scott Farms, Inc., and serving as Farm Manager at Bekemeyer Family Farm, overseeing daily operations and production planning. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts from Valencia College.
