Gabby Recny

Gabby Recny is a UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer at CherryOnTech, specializing in a human resources application aimed at addressing systemic imposter syndrome for women and non-binary individuals in tech. Gabby serves as the Creative Director and Photographer at Golden Skies Photography, empowering women and queer individuals through boudoir photography. As the Chief Executive Officer and Photographer at Golden Greyscale, Gabby promoted inclusion and diversity in a creative community. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Software Developer at Rightpoint, where collaboration on brand identity websites took place, and intensive training in Frontend Software Engineering at the Turing School of Software & Design. Early career contributions include social media content creation for ALIGHT, creative direction at Dorsia, teaching photography to children with cancer at the Pablove Foundation, and photojournalism at Newsday Media Group. Gabby holds a Certificate in Front-End Web Development from Turing School and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
