Brian Hess, CPP

Brian Hess, CPP has extensive experience in the security field. Brian has been a Director at The Chertoff Group since 2019. Prior to that, they were employed by the United States Air Force from 1999 to 2019, where they held various roles, including Protection Strategist, Military Officer, Nuclear Security Policy Officer, Commander, Deputy Commander, Operations Officer, Logistics Officer, Executive Officer, Flight Commander, and Logistics Officer.

Brian Hess, CPP attended the FBI National Academy in 2018, earning a Session 271. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Diplomacy from Norwich University between 2010 and 2012. Brian also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Intelligence Studies from American Military University between 2006 and 2008. In November 2021, they obtained the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS International.
