Gor Vardanyan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Gor is currently the CEO and co-founder of Chessify, a multi-service chess platform that supports world-class chess players. In 2012, they founded Fimetech LLC and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Gor is also a board member of YerevaNN, a world-class AI and ML research non-profit lab in Armenia. Additionally, Gor Vardanyan is an Assistant Professor at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and was previously a board member of the ArmSTQB. Gor served as the Head of the Machine Learning Masters Program at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University from 2014 to 2019. Prior to these roles, Gor Vardanyan held positions as a Software Development Team Lead at Element CXI and Amtokay CJSC. Gor also served as the Director of the Application Engineering Department at Instigate Design CJSC. In 2005, they were an Assistant Professor at Yerevan State University.
Gor Vardanyan began their education in 1995 at Gyumri Balaton Lyceum, where they studied Physics and Mathematics until 1999. Gor then enrolled at Yerevan State University in 1999 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics in 2003. Gor continued their education at Yerevan State University and completed a Master's degree in Discrete Mathematics from 2003 to 2005.
