Daniel Porter

Daniel Porter is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in program management and project engineering within logistics and fulfillment operations. At Chewy, from August 2021 to April 2024, Porter served as a Senior Level Hardware Engineer, managing new fulfillment center designs and leading high CAPEX retrofit projects. Previous roles at FedEx Logistics involved significant contributions as a Project Engineer, where Porter was instrumental in designing facilities that generated substantial revenue and optimizing operational processes. Porter also has experience in retail sales and community engagement through a leadership fellowship focused on sustainability initiatives. An alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh's Swanson School of Engineering, Porter earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
