Chez Galip is a living pottery workshop and cultural space located in Avanos, Cappadocia, at the heart of Anatolia’s centuries-old ceramic tradition.

Founded and shaped by Galip Körükçü, a fifth-generation master potter who has been immersed in the craft since childhood, Chez Galip represents a living continuation of Anatolian pottery heritage. Galip Körükçü is officially recognized on the Living Human Treasures list and has entered the Guinness World Records twice. His work and story have been featured in numerous international documentaries.

Over the years, Chez Galip has welcomed distinguished visitors from the worlds of culture, art, diplomacy, and public life, and Galip Körükçü is widely regarded as a Tourism Ambassador of Cappadocia. Today, Chez Galip continues to operate as a place where heritage is not preserved behind glass, but practiced, shared, and passed on through living craftsmanship.
