Toby Egbuna has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2013, they worked as a Finance Intern at African Capital Alliance, where they analyzed potential investment portfolios and conducted research on Nigerian industrial real estate. Toby also spent a few weeks as a Human Capital Intern at Cornerstone Insurance PLC, organizing files, handling loan agreement forms, and creating employee surveys.

In 2014, Toby interned as a Sports Licensing Intern at Licensing Resource Group, assisting with industry trend research and brainstorming marketing ideas. Toby also worked as a Strategic Marketing Intern at GCP, conducting industry research and analysis, and making recommendations for brand positioning and advertising.

Toby's experience at IBM in 2015 included serving as a LEADing to Africa Product Sales Intern, where they analyzed financial data and proposed software solutions for the LEADing to Africa program. Toby also played as a Forward on the Varsity Basketball Team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, balancing rigorous coursework with basketball responsibilities.

From 2016 to 2021, Toby worked at Accenture, starting as a Consulting Analyst and then advancing to a Consulting Senior Analyst. Toby handled various projects for clients in different industries, including testing, business analysis, and project management. Toby also served as a Management Consultant for a major Utilities company, leading a work stream for a technology implementation project and developing training materials.

In 2019, Toby worked as an Associate Diversity Strategist at Collective, and in 2020, they co-founded Chezie and assumed the role of Co-Founder and CEO. Currently, they also serve as a Board Member at DeKalb Brilliance Academy, where they support fundraising efforts as part of the partnerships committee.

Toby Egbuna attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

In addition to their degree, Toby obtained a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University in August 2020. Toby also acquired a certification in Bloomberg - Equities and Investments, although the exact month and year of completion are not provided.
