Alexander Karas

Alexander Karas is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the engineering sector, currently working at CHI Engineering Services, Inc. since November 2021. Previously, Alexander held positions as a Field Service Engineer at Ocean State Technical Services, where responsibilities included inspecting high-energy piping and advising on necessary modifications for various power plants and chemical facilities. Prior to that, Alexander served as a Plant Design Engineer at Linde, leading engineering efforts for air separation plant designs, and as a Cold Box Engineer at Praxair, focusing on cryogenic systems. Alexander began the career as a Contract Engineer at Superior Group, analyzing piping systems and assisting with pressure vessel engineering. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and has also enriched academic background through a study abroad program at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
