Joe Lyons

Joe joined Chiasma in August 2019 as our Executive Director, Human Resources. Prior to joining Chiasma Joe held roles of increasing responsibility from Director of Human Resources, Talent and Development to Executive Director & Head of Human Resources at Karyopharm Therapeutics. He was their first Human Resources leader growing the organization from 50 to over 350 employees and played a key role in building out their first commercial organization which contributed to the successful launch of XPOVIO®, an oral indication for Multiple Myeloma. Before his tenure at Karyopharm Joe held senior level HR roles at Sunovion (formerly Sepracor), Ironwood Pharmaceuticals and Vertex pharmaceuticals. Joe holds a Master of Education, Integrated Studies from Cambridge College.
