Leo Smith

Leo Smith is Chicago CRED’s Director of Policy. Leo designed and implemented Chicago CRED’s educational programs when he first joined CRED in October of 2016. In 2018, Leo led CRED’s employment, training, and job placement efforts for two plus years. Prior to joining Chicago CRED, Leo taught Reading, History, and Civics in high schools and a middle school for ten years. Leo brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his work as a former a lawyers, children’s advocate, businessperson, and Chief Financial Officer with Start Early.
