John Shields

John Shields has extensive experience in various management and counseling roles spanning sectors such as hospitality and addiction treatment. Currently serving as Supervisor of Premier Services for the Chicago Cubs since March 2020, John also works as a Background Extra at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. Previously, John held positions in addiction and substance abuse counseling, including Adjunct Faculty at Northern Illinois University and Program Director at Gateway Foundation. In the hospitality industry, John worked with Hyatt Hotels and Starwood Hotels in high-level revenue management roles. John holds a Master of Health Science in Addiction Studies from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Distribution Management from Syracuse University, achieving a perfect GPA in the graduate program.
