Julia De Beers

Julia De Beers is the Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for Evans Hotels, an independent hospitality chain in San Diego. They joined the company in 2014 to lead legal and risk functions and have since expanded their responsibilities to oversee human resources and technology. Prior to this role, Julia was an attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, focusing on litigation and labor and employment. Julia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (cum laude) from the University of Southern California in 2000 and a J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004, where they served as the Notes Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law. As a founding member of Chief in Los Angeles, Julia actively works to advance women into leadership positions.
