The Child Care Foundation, founded in 2012 by Jelani Kaiser and Jelani Trinidad, addresses the needs of vulnerable children and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Masese Division, Jinja District, Uganda. Motivated by the growing neglect of children's education, healthcare, and basic needs, the foundation offers comprehensive support, including shelter, HIV/AIDS services, and education to orphans and marginalized communities. Registered as a community-based organization in 2014, it operates in Jinja and has expanded to other areas such as Lolwe Island, with a strong commitment to child protection and empowerment. The foundation advocates for children's rights and works to end abuse, neglect, and poverty, focusing on ensuring that all children receive education, healthcare, and the care they deserve. The organization also emphasizes community empowerment by involving families and providing sustainable solutions to break the cycle of poverty.

The foundation continues to promote the dignity, respect, and future potential of children, while also addressing larger systemic issues like poverty and inequality, helping underserved populations thrive.
