Even during uncertain times children want to please the adults in their lives, make good choices, and get along with others. When children struggle, or use challenging behavior, it is up to the adults to figure out how to support them to be more successful.

Our team – with nationally recognized expertise in speech pathology, early childhood special education, and occupational therapy – works with families and educators to design individualized strategies and plans to help children develop the tools they need to experience more success and less frustration in their daily environments.

We partner with nursery schools, childcare centers, and independent schools throughout the Washington DC metro area, including MD and VA suburbs. We also work with individual families. 

In 2007, we wrote the book, "Is It A Big Problem or A Little Problem? When to Worry, When Not to Worry, and What to Do" to help our clients and others benefit from our combined experience.  It is a parent’s guide through the ups and downs of early childhood, full of practical strategies to support children through their rough patches as well as guidance on what may be “just a phase” versus a potential “red flag” for a bigger problem.
