Children in Distress is a children’s charity based in Yorkshire focused on enabling young people in the UK and Romania to thrive. 

With over 35 years of experience working with children in Romania, we have recently extended our focus and impact to the UK. 

We fund grassroots projects that nurture children’s wellbeing and education, build life skills and celebrate heritage and community. 

We offer lots of ways to get involved and make a difference through volunteering, campaigns and fundraising.
