Julia Patrick is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in therapy and counseling. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at ChildSavers since December 2017, Julia previously worked as a Marriage and Family Therapist at EMERGE Family Therapy Center & Teaching Clinic from October 2014 to May 2017, where Julia gained valuable experience conducting play therapy and managing a diverse client caseload. Julia's early career included a Marriage and Family Therapy Internship at PUC Schools, where Julia worked with adolescents and families at a charter middle school. Julia holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.

ChildSavers (formerly Memorial Child Guidance Clinic) is a source of hope for Central Virginia’s children. Founded in 1924, ChildSavers works to ensure that all children are safe, healthy, happy, and ready to learn. We provide trauma response, mental health counseling and early childhood development services so that children have a chance to reach their potential and thrive. ChildSavers is a community-supported 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. ChildSavers is licensed by the State of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Child and Family Services.
