Jiby Babu

Jiby Babu is an accomplished data science and machine learning professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Machine Learning at Chime since September 2019, Jiby played a foundational role in establishing the Data Science & Machine Learning function and successfully built the risk ML function. Prior to Chime, Jiby was the Lead Data Scientist at Circle from August 2016 to August 2019, where the initial data science hire led end-to-end machine learning solution development. Jiby's earlier career includes a tenure as Staff Software Engineer at Broadcom from August 2008 to August 2015, contributing to the growth of the Broadcom India test team and leading multiple software tooling initiatives. Educational qualifications include an MS in Business Analytics and Project Management from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Govt. Model Engineering College.
