Li Wang

Li Wang, Ph.D., is a Data Scientist currently employed at Chime since February 2024. Previously, Li served as a Senior Data Scientist at Deserve from September 2020 to August 2023, where contributions included developing machine learning models and analytics for the credit card lending business. Li's career also includes roles as a Data Science Consultant at Insight Data Science, where a supervised ML model was created for Wild Earth, Inc., and as a Medical Writer at Healthcare Consultancy Group, contributing to successful drug launch campaigns. Academic experience includes positions at New York University as a Graduate Assistant focusing on neuroscience and as a Teaching Assistant at California State University-San Bernardino, where Li worked with autistic children. Li holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California State University-San Bernardino.
