Mark Alexander

Mark Alexander is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Chime since November 2022, Mark previously held positions such as Principal Backend Engineer at Moov Financial and Staff Backend Engineer at Simple Finance. Notably, Mark has also worked as a Senior Application Developer at Bingham McCutchen LLP and in independent music as a Double Bass performer since 1985. Mark's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University, a Master's in Music from the New England Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Western Washington University.
