Martin Lo is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in fraud detection and user experience optimization in financial services. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in Trust and Safety at Chime since May 2020, Martin leads the Disputes Engineering team, focusing on enhancing the banking disputes user experience while reducing fraud loss and operational costs. Prior to Chime, Martin held the position of Software Engineer at Wish, where efforts were concentrated on mitigating fraud within the marketplace. Martin's career also includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Visa, where the development of a fraud detection scoring platform was a key contribution, and an internship as a Business Analyst at Hewlett-Packard. Martin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University.
