Oliver Xia

Oliver Xia is a Senior Software Engineer at Chime since June 2021, focusing on enhancing the customer disputes experience. Previously, Oliver served as a Software Engineer at Amazon, contributing to Android Podcast playback for Amazon Music, and at Lime, specializing in backend development with Ruby on Rails. Prior roles include Software Engineer II at Akamai Technologies, where backend services were upgraded for HTTP/2.0 support, and a Software Engineer at SOASTA, developing automated testing solutions. Oliver's early experience includes serving as a Teacher Assistant for a software engineering course at California Polytechnic State University and internships at Bizo, where both webpage development and conversion of Java servlet filters were undertaken. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, obtained in 2016.
