Ryan King

Co-Founder at Chime

Ryan King is the CTO and Co-Founder at Chime. Ryan has over fifteen years of experience in Silicon Valley as a technical leader and entrepreneur.

King started their career at Liberate Technologies, where they were the Manager of Server Engineering. Ryan then moved to Plaxo, where they were the VP of Engineering and COO. In 2010, they joined Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center, where they were responsible for some of the most cutting edge products and technologies for Comcast Interactive. These included Plaxo, Tunerfish, Xfinity Connect, and the Xfinity X1 Platform.

In 2012, King left Comcast to start Chime with two other co-founders. Chime is a mobile app that allows users to track their spending, set financial goals, and stay on top of their finances. The company has been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, and The Wall Street Journal.

Ryan King has a BS in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Ryan King reports to Chris Britt, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Matt Newcomb - CFO, Zach Smith - SVP, Product, and Jackie Chang - Chief of Staff. Some individuals on their team include Brandon Golm - VP, Engineering, James Barrese - Chief Technology Officer.
