Sara El-Amine

Sara El-Amine, Ph.D. (hc), is a seasoned tech policy executive currently serving as Vice President of Community at Chime. Previously, they held significant roles at Lyft as Senior Director, overseeing Public Affairs and Community, and at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative as Senior Director of Advocacy. Their extensive experience includes leadership positions with Obama for America, where they led organizing efforts and training during the presidential campaign and transition. Sara has also contributed to the United Nations as a Fellow and has shared their expertise as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chicago. They are pursuing a Doctor of Humane Letters at Occidental College, reflecting their commitment to furthering their knowledge and impact in the field.
