Ann Buffington

Ann Buffington has over 20 years of experience in data management roles within the biotech and clinical research industries. Ann is currently working as the Director of Data Management at Chimerix, Inc. since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Data Management at IQVIA Biotech from 2021 to 2022, where they led a team of Oncology Data Managers and focused on early phase studies with biotech companies. Before that, they served as the Manager of Data Management at Novella Clinical, Inc. from 2005 to 2021. Their career started as a Clinical Data Coordinator at Columbus Community Clinical Oncology Program, where they worked from 2002 to 2005.

Ann Buffington earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biogical Science from The Ohio State University, completing their studies between 1995 and 1999.
