Erica Sumner is the Director of Quality Assurance at Chimerix, a Jazz Pharmaceuticals Company, bringing extensive experience in quality management within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. With a background that includes roles as Associate Director and Senior Quality Engineer, Erica has a proven track record of driving process improvements and enhancing product quality. Erica has successfully completed numerous Six Sigma projects, delivering significant cost savings and operational excellence throughout their career. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University, Erica is dedicated to continuous improvement and collaborative teamwork in every aspect of their work.
