Scott Foster

Scott Foster is a seasoned virologist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving at Chimerix, Inc. since January 2009, Scott has developed a robust expertise in virology. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Group Manager in Virology at GlaxoSmithKline from May 1999 to December 2008. Educationally, Scott obtained a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1985 and 1991, following a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Wittenberg University, completed in 1985.
