Chimet is a chemical-metallurgical company, a leader in the recovery and refining of rare and precious metals (platinum, palladium, iridium, rhodium, ruthenium, copper, gold, silver).

Its activity is fully part of the circular economy objectives that are now a priority in national and European policy. Through the cycle developed by Chimet, waste becomes reusable raw materials in numerous industrial chains (petrochemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, goldsmith, electronics, fuel cells and photovoltaic panels, etc.).

The metals produced by Chimet are part of the strategic raw materials necessary for the performance of activities crucial to the productive autonomy of the country and of Europe.
