Franco Alfaro has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Franco started their career as a teaching assistant at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2014, where they assisted with introduction to programming courses. In 2015, they transitioned to a professional basketball player role at Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, participating in national and international championships until 2018. During this time, they also worked as a substitute math teacher at Liceo de Adultos Poeta Vicente Huidobro and as a construction worker at Constructora CFT.

In 2018, Franco joined Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile again, working as a software developer on a research project focused on argumentation and collaboration. Franco utilized NodeJS and Python for the project. Additionally, they took on a role as a full-stack web developer at ComunidadFeliz.com in 2019. Franco contributed to developing web applications while there.
