Mohamed Kassem

Mohamed Kassem is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. As Cofounder and CTO of ChipFoundry since April 2025, Kassem is driving innovation in semiconductor design. Prior to this, Kassem co-founded efabless corporation, contributing to the development of a pioneering platform that utilizes crowdsourcing for hardware design. Kassem has held key roles at Texas Instruments, including OMAP Smartphone Business Manager and Head of Engineering for the Analog IP Infrastructure, overseeing significant projects in mixed-signal design and business development. Kassem's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University. Additionally, Kassem serves as a member of the Semiconductor Degrees Leadership Board at Purdue University.
