Lei Liu

Lei Liu is the Analog Electronics Engineering Lead at Chipiron, where they direct the hardware development of innovative MRI systems utilizing advanced quantum detectors. With over 12 years of experience in engineering, Lei has led multidisciplinary teams through the full design lifecycle of high-performance, low-noise analog and RF systems, particularly in regulated environments. Previously, as a Senior Researcher at the University of Oxford, Lei focused on the Square Kilometre Array project, and their work at Jodrell Bank Observatory contributed to key advancements in phased array systems. Lei earned a PhD in Microwave Engineering from Northumbria University.
