ChiRi Studio Ltd builds HQ-Lite — a low-power, network-first defensive edge appliance for smaller organisations that need better local visibility, resilience and control without depending entirely on cloud-based security platforms.

HQ-Lite sits at the edge of the network, between WAN and LAN, providing routing, firewalling, local traffic visibility, DNS/IOC policy, controlled response and offline-capable operation.

HQ-Lite has moved beyond concept and prototype. Its Alpha Core is now feature-complete and has been live-tested as a real edge device in an active network environment. The current phase is focused on hardening, optimisation, validation, documentation and pilot readiness.

At the centre of HQ-Lite is Guardian — our frontline decision and response engine for observe-decide-act security. Guardian observes network behaviour, scores risk, records decisions and coordinates defensive action through controlled enforcement layers such as nftables, XDP/eBPF, DNS policy and IOC workflows.

Current validated Alpha work includes firewall/NAT, automated network bring-up, DNS/URL/IP IOC handling, IPv4 and IPv6 DNS sinkhole support, threat false-positive handling, nftables and XDP/eBPF integration, Blackhole sync between nftables and XDP, IPv6 DHCPv6-PD discovery and dashboard visibility.

We are now preparing HQ-Lite for longer stability testing, armed mode validation, API/session/role hardening, Watchdog and Noctilux integration, and structured pilot readiness.

We are looking for design partners, pilot environments, MSPs, SME operators and infrastructure partners interested in practical defensive edge security
