Peter Berner

Peter Berner has extensive work experience in risk management, audit, and organizational management. Peter is currently the Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management at CHIRON Group since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at LEONI from 2016 to 2022, holding positions such as Head of Risk & Compliance and Director of Risk Management. From 2003 to 2015, they held various roles at LEONI Kabel Holding GmbH, including Leiter Organisaton, Risk & Real Estate Management. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Internal Auditor at LEONI and as a Plant Controller at BSH Home Appliances Group. Peter started their professional journey as an Assistent der Geschäftsführung at Hagn GmbH.

Peter Berner attended the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Betriebswirtschaft. Peter then went on to study at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Witschaftsingenieurwesen.
