William Stringer is the CEO and Co-Founder of Chisos Capital. Prior to their current role, Stringer served as the Product Lead at QoS from October 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for supporting the QOS distributed application ecosystem for compliant trade finance and immutable supply chains.
Before their time at QoS, Stringer worked as a Senior Investment Associate at Cockrell Interests, Inc. from September 2015 to August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for public equity idea generation and analysis, private equity fund due diligence, direct investment valuation for early to late stage companies, and valuation of both current energy portfolio assets and incoming energy opportunities. William also reported monthly and quarterly to both the investment committee and board of directors.
Stringer began their career in investment banking as an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2014 to August 2015. William then served as a Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from June 2013 to August 2013.
William Stringer has a BBA in Finance and Business Honors from the Texas McCombs School of Business. William also has a Business Administration and Management, General degree from the University of Bath. William has certification from Bloomberg LP in Bloomberg's BESS Program, as well as certification from Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 63 and 79.
