Chitale Bandhu is an iconic consumer packaged food brand with a heritage of over 75 years. We operate across sweets, savoury snacks, and ready-to-eat categories. Our products reach consumers through traditional kirana stores, modern retail, e-commerce, and quick commerce. We serve both B2C and B2B segments.

Our roots go back to 1939, when the Chitale family began in milk distribution. The business later transformed into a branded packaged food company in 1950. Since then, we have grown from a regional name into a multi-category FMCG brand, with presence in more than 50,000 stores across 10 states in India, selling 400+ products. 

Chitale Bandhu has been ranked as India’s 2nd most trusted packaged sweet brand as per Brand Trust Report 2024 published by TRA.

Beyond India, we are growing in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and parts of South-East Asia. Our products are sold across all types of retail formats, including large retailers like Walmart & Kohl’s.

We believe in responsible growth. Across our portfolio, we focus on quality ingredients. Our endeavour to offer "no-palm-oil" products reflects our commitment to delighting consumers responsibly. Our facilities are US FDA registered and FSSC 22000 certified.

Innovation is key to our growth. Through ‘Bingebar’, we are taking familiar Indian flavours such as Bhadang, Bhel and Lemon Bhel into portable bar formats. It is one way we are making traditional taste experiences more relevant for modern, on-the-go consumption.

Nutrition continues to be our focus. Consumer response to our unique product, Millet Caramel bar has been encouraging. Our range of M2 (Mindful & Mouthful) brand caters to consumers looking for nutritious options like millets, nuts and seeds across categories.

As we continue to scale, professional managers are leading the next phase of growth across functions like brand management, e-commerce, sales and finance.
