Will graduated with a PhD in experimental particle physics from UCLA where he developed his expertise for handling and understanding large data sets. Convinced that climate change is a serious threat, he transitioned the technical skills he gained while looking for muon pairs to those needed to measure biomass evolution. He also has experience as a software engineer and has developed production-level code used to steer proton beams for cancer treatment.
