Daniel Khachab has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Daniel is currently the co-founder and CEO of Choco, a company focused on building a connected global food system. Prior to Choco, they were a founding member of 2hearts. Daniel has also held positions at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics as a member of the Board of Advisors and an external lecturer on Digital Entrepreneurship. In addition, they have served as a venture co-founder and CEO at Rocket Internet SE, where they led the successful launch of Vaniday.com and worked as a Global Venture Development Manager. Earlier in their career, they were in the German Air Force and co-founded Happee Ltd., a social network with restaurant reservation and affiliate shopping features. Daniel was also part of the production team for the FIFA Worldcup in 2006.
Daniel Khachab has pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Business with a major in Finance at Maastricht University. Daniel has also completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Negocios internacionales from Universidad de Los Andes. In addition to their formal education, Daniel holds a certification as a Certified Ski Instructor. Furthermore, they have participated in the Masterclass European Particles Outreach Group at the Max Planck Society, although the specific field of study for this program is not stated.
