Ron Buckner

Ron Buckner has over 30 years of experience in financial management and executive roles. Ron began their career in 1990 as the Director of Finance at Panavision International, LP, where they were recruited to execute a worldwide reorganization and financial restructuring. During their time at Panavision, they led initiatives to reduce pre-restructure debt by over $6M, conceptualized and implemented a statutory equity requirements fulfillment strategy, centralized annual business plans and quarterly plan revisions, and oversaw the preparation of financial reporting for investors and an international group of 21 banks. Ron also coordinated the implementation of a new international cash management system, orchestrated the selection, installation, and training of an automated accounting and rental inventory tracking system for all European locations, and evaluated 60 domestic and international subsidiaries, identifying 40 under-performers for divestiture. Through their efforts, they were able to transform a $25M loss into a $7M profit within three years.

In 1994, Ron Buckner joined Intercapital PLC as Managing Director of Intercapital Services Inc. and Chief Financial Officer & Controller of Delta Clearing. During their time at Intercapital, they developed and launched organizational infrastructure and oversaw new business lines in collaboration with the company President. Ron also evaluated potential business products and navigated through related customer base and financial risks following launches. Furthermore, they restructured organizational design to improve communication on product and staff performance, renegotiated 400+ employment and production brokerage contracts to reduce expenditures, successfully created four fully staffed trading desks with $2M monthly capacity, slashed $75M of corporate debt through comprehensive reengineering of business operations and strategic negotiations, and reduced build out, furnishing, and equipment installation costs by 20%. Ron also launched the industry's first for-profit clearing agency (SRO).

In 2000, Ron Buckner joined ChoiceTrade as the Executive Vice President, CFO, and COO.

Ron Buckner obtained their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Ron also holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant in New York and New Jersey, as well as FINRA Series 24, 27, 4, 7, 62, and 63.
