Tim Splinter

Tim Splinter is an experienced engineering professional with a comprehensive background in embedded software design and test engineering within the medical device and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as the Principal Systems Engineer at Choose Movement Consulting since January 2025, Tim focuses on providing solutions for manufacturing and developmental testing. Tim has owned TS Design since 1999, specializing in embedded software design. Prior roles include consultant positions at ShiraTronics, Inc and Medtronic, along with senior roles at Boston Scientific, where Tim was involved in testing RF capabilities of cardiac devices, and a lead engineer role at Rivertek Medical Systems, Inc for a cardiac heart simulator project. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
