Wouter Hemel

Wouter Hemel has extensive work experience in the fields of eHealth, Growth, Performance Marketing, and Financial Products. In 2019, they began working as a Growth Strategist, Head of User Research, and Growth Hacker for Chordify - tune into chords. In 2018, they founded the Dutch eHealth platform StartMindful.nl. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head of Growth at srprs.me, where they grew the company's annual revenue by 265%. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Director and co-founder of Netofex BV, which owns several financial comparison websites. From 2004 to 2010, they were a Performance Marketeer and Director at iSec Media, and won several awards for their work. Wouter also held roles as an elected member of the University Council at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from 2010 to 2011, and as Chairman of the Faculty Council of Behavioural and Social Sciences at the University of Groningen from 2008 to 2010.

Wouter Hemel completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Applied Social Psychology) from the University of Groningen between 2005 and 2009. Wouter then completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy (of economic and social sciences) from the University of Groningen between 2006 and 2015. Wouter followed this with a Master of Science in Social Psychology from the University of Groningen between 2009 and 2013. Finally, they completed a Certified Mindfulness Trainer (MBSR and MBCT programmes) from the Mindfulness Institute (NL) between 2017 and 2018.
