Manager, Change at Chorus

Andy Bradwell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Andy started their career at WHSmith as an Audio Department Manager in 1987. Andy then worked at various telecommunications companies, starting with Mercury Communications in 1993 as a Sales representative. Andy later joined NYNEX CableComms as a Market Manager in 1995. In 1997, they became a Marketing Product Manager at Cable & Wireless Communications, where they developed and managed Cable & Wireless Centrex.

In 1998, Andy joined Saturn Communications as a Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for marketing aspects related to the commercial market and managing the business marketing team. Andy then moved to TelstraSaturn Ltd in 2000 as a Business Product Manager, accountable for developing product strategies and championing the products both internally and externally.

In 2001, Andy joined Telecom NZ ltd and held various roles. Andy began as part of the marketing and product team and later became the Head of Voice Product Management Portfolio in 2006. In 2007, they became the Head of Product Management, managing the retail product portfolio with significant revenues. During their tenure, they also championed customer experience improvements for Telecom broadband services.

Since 2009, Andy has been working at Chorus NZ Limited, starting as the Manager of Products. In this role, they successfully launched several new services and managed all aspects of the Chorus product portfolio. Andy then transitioned to the role of Manager, Change, where they lead a team of Change Managers responsible for ensuring business readiness for various change activities. This includes introducing agile practices, leading transition programs, and maintaining an enterprise view of change.

Throughout their career, Andy has gained expertise in change management, stakeholder management, planning, agile, and DevOps. Andy holds a PROCSI certification and has evolved their change management methodology over time to suit the needs of stakeholders. Andy has consistently achieved revenue targets and improved customer engagement scores in their roles.

Andy Bradwell completed their education at various institutions. Andy attended St Philip Howard High School from 1979 to 1985. Afterward, they pursued a degree in Commerce at the University of Chichester from 1985 to 1987. Andy then went on to study Business Studies at Bournemouth University, graduating with a BA Hons degree in 1993. In the same year, they obtained a Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Andy also gained expertise in PRINCE2 Project Management through their studies at Project Laneways in 2011. In 2016, they became a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Being Human. Lastly, in 2019, they received their certification in Lean Change Management from the Lean Change Management Association.
