Aretha Manus has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Aretha is currently working as a Platform Support Manager at Chorus NZ Limited since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Leader ICT Operations at Whangarei District Council starting from January 2018.

Aretha analyzed each company's processes, trained staff on new processes, and assessed adherence to Best Business Practice through quarterly reporting.

Earlier in their career, Aretha worked as a Business Analyst at Levi Strauss & Co. from May 2009 to October 2011 and as a Systems Analyst at Pioneer Foods from August 2007 to April 2009. Overall, Aretha has accumulated expertise in leadership, support, analysis, and project management roles across various industries.

Aretha Manus attended La Rochelle Girls' High School from 1993 to 1995. Aretha then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Counselling from UNISA, specializing in Counseling Psychology, from 2007 to 2013.
