Arul J. has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Arul started their career as a Technical Associate at Tech Mahindra in 2006 and worked there until 2009. Arul then joined Telecom New Zealand as a Test Analyst from 2008 to 2009. Arul then worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a Test Engineer from 2010 to 2011, where they tested various new products from the Provisioning Perspective.

In 2011, Arul joined Spark New Zealand as a Test Analyst and later became a Test Lead. Arul managed a team of 4 test resources and was responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting various test activities. Arul had good communication and written skills, and they emphasized re-verification and preparation of test case suites for future projects.

In 2018, Arul joined The Testing Consultancy (TTC) as a Test Lead and worked there until 2021. Arul then joined Chorus NZ Limited as a Senior Test Analyst and eventually became the Lead QA Engineer. At Chorus, Arul was involved in testing activities, working closely with various teams internally and across multiple vendors. Arul contributed to projects aimed at upgrading systems and applications to improve customer service.

Arul J. obtained a Master of Computer Applications degree from Bharathidasan University, specializing in Computer Applications. This educational experience took place from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, Arul J. attended J J College of Arts and Science from 1997 to 2000 and obtained a BSc degree in Industrial Electronics.

In addition to formal education, Arul J. has obtained several certifications. In 2015, Arul J. received the "Scrum Team Member Accredited Certification" from the International Scrum Institute™. Arul J. acquired the "CloudU Certificate" from Rackspace, the Open Cloud Company, in 2013. Furthermore, in 2011, Arul J. obtained the "ISTQB Software Testing Foundation" certification from the ANZTB (Australia New Zealand Testing Board).
