Hamish Buchanan has a diverse range of work experience in the banking and telecommunications industries. Hamish started their career at ANZ in 2009, serving as a Product Manager for Current Accounts/Visa Debit and later for Home Loans. During their time at ANZ, they demonstrated strong leadership skills by leading major change programs and successfully migrating customers to online statements, resulting in significant cost savings for the company.

In 2014, Hamish joined Westpac New Zealand Limited as a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Cards. Hamish then took on the role of Portfolio Director for Commercial Cards and eventually became the Senior Manager for Business Payments, showcasing their ability to take on increasing responsibilities and achieve results in different areas of the company.

Most recently, in 2018, Hamish moved to Chorus NZ Limited as the Chapter Lead for Consumer Product & Propositions.
