Ian Ferguson currently serves as the Head of Regulation and Policy at Chorus NZ Limited, having previously held roles including Head of Economic Regulation and Regulatory and Policy Affairs Manager since October 2020. Before joining Chorus NZ, Ferguson was the Manager of Pricing and Policy at the Board of Airline Representatives New Zealand Inc. (BARNZ), where collaboration with the government focused on airline industry solutions. Previous experience includes consulting as an Associate Director at PwC New Zealand, managing regulatory policy at Vector Limited, and various roles within the Ministry of Fisheries NZ and the Scottish Government. Ferguson holds a Graduate Diploma in Economics from Massey University and a MA (Hons) in History from the University of Glasgow.
