Ian Norman

Ian Norman has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Ian began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Assistant in 1990 and later progressed to the role of Senior Audit Manager. Their responsibilities included external audit and due diligence for clients in the financial services and oil and gas sectors. In 1999, Ian joined Telecom New Zealand as the Manager of Financial Assurance and later became the Regulatory Pricing Manager. At Telecom New Zealand, they also served as the Manager of Customer Information and Revenue Assurance/Regulatory Reporting, Manager of Finance Operations, and Finance Manager for Gen-i Sales, Marketing, and Customer Profitability. In 2011, Ian transitioned to Chorus NZ Limited where they held various positions including Finance Manager of Operations, Financial Controller for the Infrastructure Group, and Senior Finance Manager for Customer and Network Operations.

Ian Norman obtained their education from various prestigious institutions. Ian started their academic journey by attending the University of Cambridge from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics (MA Cantab). Following this, Ian enrolled at ICAEW from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA). In 2009, they pursued further education at The University of Waikato, obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Management Studies in 2010, specializing in Management.
