Jd Dekrout

JD Dekrout has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career in 2005 as a General Manager at Curve Bar, Subnine and Studionine Group, where they worked until 2010. From 2007 to 2012, JD worked as a Freelance Technical and Event Consultant in their own self-employed capacity.

In 2012, JD joined Salmat as a Customer Engagement and Compliance Specialist, a role they held until 2014. They then transitioned to the role of Workforce Analyst and remained with Salmat until 2015.

In 2015, JD joined Chorus NZ Limited as a Workforce Manager. They were responsible for managing the workforce and stayed in this role until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, JD served as the Field Services Planning and Capacity Manager and later as the Supply Chain and S&OP Manager at Chorus NZ Limited.

In 2018, JD assumed the role of Contract Manager at Chorus NZ Limited, where they oversaw initiatives and ensured contractual compliance until February 2020. They then took on the position of Programme Portfolio Manager (PMO), Complex Delivery, responsible for delivering long-term, capital-intensive programmes for government and local agencies.

JD Dekrout began their education at Whitireia Community Polytechnic in 2004, where they obtained a Certification in DJ Music. They then attended Victoria University of Wellington from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies. In 2011, JD enrolled at SAE Institute New Zealand and completed a Diploma in Sound Engineering, specializing in Audio Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, JD has obtained a number of certifications. In September 2018, they became a Certified Agile Professional through ICAgile. They also obtained the ICP-ATF: Agile Team Facilitation Certified certification in December 2018. JD further expanded their skills with certifications from ICAgile, including Agility in the Enterprise (ICP-ENT) in November 2021 and Coaching Agile Transitions (ICP-CAT) in November 2021. Their most recent certification is the Certified Expert - Enterprise Coaching (ICE-EC) from ICAgile, obtained in July 2023. They have also obtained a Mental Health First Aid certification from St John New Zealand in December 2018.
