Jenni Buksh

Jenni Buksh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jenni started their career as a Sales Assistant at Stevens, where they gained knowledge about kitchen products and eventually took on managerial responsibilities. Jenni then worked as a Checkout Operator at Mitre 10 New Zealand Limited and Bunnings before joining the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program as an Assistant Language Teacher, where they taught English at secondary and primary schools. Following this, Jenni worked as a Global English Teacher on PeaceBoat, where they planned and taught tailor-made English curriculum on board a ship. Jenni then transitioned into the education sector as a Mathematics and Japanese Teacher at Massey High School, where they created digital teaching resources and assessments. After that, Jenni held a Planning Assistant position at EziBuy, where they provided support for purchasing and stock management. Currently, they are working at Chorus NZ Limited as a Product & Propositions Manager, where they oversee product development and manages external communications. Throughout their career, Jenni has demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Jenni Buksh attended Mahurangi College from 1994 to 2000, where they earned a NZ A Bursary in various subjects including Accounting, Chemistry, Japanese, and Mathematics. Jenni then enrolled at The University of Auckland from 2001 to 2004 and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Bachelor of Arts (BA), focusing on International Business and Japanese, with a minor in Mathematics. Jenni later returned to The University of Auckland in 2009 to pursue a Graduate Diploma in Teaching, specializing in Secondary education.
