Julian Grennell

Julian Grennell is a highly experienced economist and executive currently serving as Principal Economist at Chorus NZ Limited and Chairman of the Cancer Society of New Zealand. Julian holds the position of Co-Chair of the Oversight Group at Te Aka Mātauranga Matepukupuku - Centre for Cancer Research. Previous roles include key positions at Zip Co as a Board Member and Director of Regulatory Affairs, as well as Chief Commercial Officer at PartPay, which was acquired by Zip. Julian's earlier career features significant roles at 2degrees as Corporate Finance Manager, Vector Limited as Strategy Manager, PwC as Manager and Economist, and Brookfield as Consultant and Economist. Education credentials include degrees from the University of Otago and Christ's College, Canterbury.
