Luke Henshall

Luke Henshall has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Luke began their career as a journalist at Radio New Zealand and later joined MediaWorks NZ in the same capacity. In 2004, they took on a role as a Marketing Coordinator at OCS One Complete Solution before transitioning to TOWER Insurance as a Marketing Communications Advisor.

In 2009, Luke became an HR Advisor at Beca and then took on the position of Senior Communications and Media Advisor at Waterfront Auckland in 2011. Luke held this role for four years before joining Panuku Development Auckland as a Senior Media Relations Advisor, where they provided public affairs counsel and managed media relations for various property development projects.

From 2016 to 2019, Luke worked as a Senior Account Director at The Clarity Business, where they developed PR programs and strategies for clients and provided strategic advice and counsel. Luke then moved on to LH Communications as a Director, offering communications support to Auckland-based property clients.

Most recently, Luke held two roles at Chorus NZ Limited. Luke started in 2019 as a Senior Communications Consultant, responsible for creating marcomms-focused editorial content for consumers and business-to-business audiences. Luke then became the Marketing Lead - Content in 2020, leading the development and production of editorial content and marcomms across various channels for New Zealand's largest internet infrastructure provider.

Luke Henshall's education history begins in 1994 at The University of Auckland, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Psychology, completing it in 1995. In 1996, they attended the University of Otago, where they obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. The following year, from 1997 to 1998, Luke attended CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology), specializing in Broadcast Journalism and earning a Post Graduate Certificate in Broadcast Journalism. After several years, in 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business at Massey University.
