Nelmari MacKenzie

Nelmari MacKenzie is currently the Governance and Assurance Manager at Chorus NZ, bringing extensive experience as a management consultant with a focus on internal auditing, financial management, risk management, and corporate governance. With over 12 years in internal auditing, Nelmari has held significant roles at organizations including PwC South Africa and Engen, where they managed teams and delivered critical audit and risk management assessments. They are a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and have received recognition for their contributions to project risk management in previous roles. Nelmari obtained a National Diploma in Financial Information Systems from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, majoring in various financial and management disciplines.
